Dawnstars vision blurred with tears, she growled, colapsing in hysterical crying, in her mind, a face loomed, a light grey tom, his eyes the color of blood red skies....Something....a tiny kit, all alone....Her heartbeat, to weak to keep going....the face snarled and lunged at her. She reeled in fear, screaming. " Silvermist, somethings wrong...It's not supposed to happen like this..." Dawnstar cried, tears rolling down her grey face. Then, the sound of bones cracking, Dawnstar's back legs went limp, her mind clouded over in a black haze. " My spine....My spine......Your killing me...." Dawnstar soon grew angry, her mind was lost in a haze, then she angrily screamed " Do you love me now, mother? Do you!" a dark scream escaped her lips as she fell under, visions of her parents came into her mind, then, playing with her siblings, her all alone. She continued to scream at her mother, whom she imagined was in the den with them..." LEAVE ME ALONE! PLEASE!!!1" She cried hysterically, her poor frame shaking under the pressure.
Ghostshadow was at Amberclaw's side, her teeth bared, she looked at Hawkstorm, her eyes filled with hate, anger, and disgust. " calling for your mate wont help, thats call being a wimp, getting someone else to fight your battles, what moxie! but really, you should shut up before i murder you" Ghostshadow hissed, she wasn't very large, about the size of Hawkstorm, but she was trained to assasinate with deadly efficancy since she could walk. Her pale, mist green eyes looked so incredibly creepy, they could chill you to the bone. Her dappled light grey coat was stained with blood and mud. She tiled her head to the side, listening to screams, then picked one. Her cruel face lit up in a horrible smile " It's a girl!" She hissed, and then darted towards the medicene cat's den.
Hazelwing watched, her love, the one she felt emotion towards, he looked at her with such emotion, she thought she would just fall to peices. Nightheart.....I love you..... She thought, her petit little frame shot out towards another cat. It was a Shadowclan cat, she was sure, but she didn't know who she was attacking, all she knew was that she was kicking tail. She stole a glance from Nightheart, her emotions running pall mall in her head. She clawed at the cat's head, tearing an eye from it's socket. Hazelwing shuddered, she so despised war and blood.

Scarletpaw could only watch in fear as the battle raged on all around her. Her almond shaped green eyes were wide and panicked, sorrowfully taking in the unfolding horror. She glanced around quickly. Where had Skyfang gotten too? Scarletpaw was genuinely worried. Her mentor would often wander off without her and go do his own thing, and his haughty attitude usually got him in serious trouble. He had already lost half of his tail because of a scuff with an enourmous invading rogue a while ago.
Suddenly, Scarletpaw didn't need to keep looking. Skyfang jumped right in front of her, a ThunderClan she-cat with outstretched claws following him. The she-cat was small, but so was Skyfang. He was probably even smaller, what with his super puffy fur. It may have made him look bigger, tougher, and more aggressive, but in truth, that wasn't the case.
Leaping back to avoid the ongoing fight between her mentor and the ThunderClan cat, Scarletpaw quickly found herself pressed up against a tree, with nowhere to go but up. Her fight or flight instincts kicked in, and the apprentice chose flight. She was almost ten moons old and a brave cat, but even she couldn't bear to stand there and be crushed by two viciously fighting warriors. She figured that, if she stood above them, maybe she could even jump in and help out Skyfang a bit when he needed it.
She then discovered that he needed help sooner than she assumed.
She watched in horror as her mentor's eye was torn from it's socket and flung a few feet from the fight. It was a terrible sight, but Scarletpaw was mesmerized, unable to look away no matter how hard she tried. She struggled to keep her balance on the branch she stood on, wobbling uncertainly as her stomach churned in disgust. She could see Skyfang wallowing in pain, blood spurting from his empty eye socket, and the cat who tore away half of his vision shuddering at the sight. That's when Scarletpaw saw her chance.
She dropped from her low-hanging branch, rolling across the lumpy ground to slow herself and make it easier to fight. She stood, a bit dizzy, but sturdier than she'd been in the tree. She did her best to ignore the eyeball rolling around. She growled at the ThunderClan cat, her red-tinted brown pelt puffed out from her body. "How dare you hurt my mentor!" With a fierce battle cry, the apprentice shot forward, knocking into her opponent with full force. Luckily, she had grown a lot since first being named an apprentice, and stood taller than the other she-cat. The blow would have easily dizzied up the ThunderClanner. Scarletpaw, however, had an extremely hard head. She could feel her brain rattling around a little bit, but it wasn't enough to shake her from her game. OOC: Sorry it's short! But at least it's a response, eh?

OOC: Wow I am going to post let's see how things work out! He was in the midst of a fight with some ThunderClan cat but he was keeping an eye out for his apprentice. Skyfang was visious. He may have been tiny but he made up for that in brute strength. All that was going through his head was Find Scarletpaw But what was coming out of him was pure unfiltered rage and the need to swipe the she-cat in front of him out of exsitence.
The fight didn't last too long because they were leaping out in front of Scarletpaw, that's when Skyfangs need to kill kicked in even more. No ways was this ThunderClan mouse dung getting anywhere near his apprentice. But that wasn't the case they were slowly backing up and he heard Scarletpaw scurry up a tree behind him. It didn't seem that too long after a paw came out at his face and the next thing he knew; his vision had reduced to one side.
White flashes of anger an pain flashed through him as he wiggled on the ground he was only vaguley aware of the blood gushing from his now empty eye socket. What caught his attention was the loud cry that was coming not only from himself but from what sounded like Scarletpaw. Skyfang managed to open his remaining eye enough to see that Scarletpaw was back on the forest ground and was going after the cat that he not to long ago had been battling. He himself woulg have loved to rush in and fight side by side with his apprentice but he was simply in too much pain.
No matter how hard he tried to stand up and push the pain to the back of his head a flash of agony would come and buckle his legs out from underneath him. He was dimmly aware that somepart through all the growling and howling he saw an eye lying a short distance away from him. But no logical thought was going through his head in no way was he thinking that that was his eyeball lying on the forest floor. All that mattered to him was getting up and helping Scarletpaw. OOC:Not bad, not bad at all.

OOC: I must say, I'm proud! IC: Scarletpaw vaguely heard the pained groans and hisses sounding behind her. Her only thought was revenge. Her mentor had been severely injured, and it was all because of the puny she-cat standing in front of her. The apprentice refused to let that action go unpunished.
She shot forward, claws outstretched. She slammed into the other cat with full force, but her forepaws had been reaching out too far. Her legs nearly cracked in half from the impact, but the sight of her one-eyed mentor brought new hope and a new reason to fight. She was going to prove herself, and then she could become a warrior.
Wincing in pain only once, Scarletpaw scrambled to her paws, growling. She hissed at the ThunderClan cat, ignoring the shooting pains that traversed up her legs. She snapped her head forward, her strong jaws latching onto the she-cat's ear. She bit down and wriggled her teeth around a bit, tearing the flesh and cartilage and spraying blood everywhere. Oh, ew! It's getting into my fur! She made a sour face, wrenching her teeth from side to side again. It would definitely be hurting the ThunderClanner.
A shiver ran down her spine as Scarletpaw thought, I could be in her position. Thank StarClan I'm bigger and faster!
She finally released her grip, her mouth soaked with hot blood. The tangy, tingling sensation of inflicting pain on another cat still coursed through the apprentice, giving her an unimaginable buzz. She could see everything with an icy clarity she had never experienced before. So this is what it means to be a warrior, she thought, a sparkle in her pretty almond shaped eyes.
Now that she was feeling so hyped up and prepared, she finally noticed Skyfang grimacing and walking awkwardly. "Skyfang!" she cried, forgetting her opponent momentarily. "Get your furry tail back to camp and let Hailmist help you!" There was no way Scarletpaw would let him bleed out from his eye socket. If he didn't go, she would kill her enemy and drag him home herself.

OOC: Now lets see if I can do that again... IC: Skyfang heard Scarletpaw tell him to get back to camp but what caught his attention was the tone of her voice. He knew that she had experienced what it was like to become a warrior. He did not want to leave her all alone in the enemy camp but she was right he had to go back to camp and get Hailmist to do something before he bled to death.
He managed to catch Scarletpaws gaze with his one eye and he hoped that the message that he was proud of her was delevered to her with enough emotion to apologize for what he was next going to do. Of course he was going back to camp but not before he took some ThunderClan blood with him. Slowly he stood straight up and turned around in the direction that he knew ShadowClan was waiting for him in. He then burst into as fast as a run he could manage on his wobbly legs. It wasn't much but it got him going at a fairly good pace.
He could smell the sweet scent of ShadowClan on the wind and there were no ThunderClan cats that he could see but just to make sure he swivled his head back and forth so that his one eye could clearly see what was around him. The sounds of cats fighting came to him from all over the forest but all that Skyfang could think of was getting back alive to ShadowClan so that he could be there for his apprentice; Scarletpaw whom he'd left behind in order to get to Hailmist. To his left he saw a bit of movement and jumped. he ended up landing on a ThunderClan cat and with whatever strength he had left he clawed at whatever he could get at. All the while he was vering himself towards ShadowClan. The edges of his vision were getting blurry and grey but he kept going. Afterall the scent of freedom was heavily in his nostrils.
Skyfang had made it, well at least past the one cat that he had attacked. He had some more scratches here and there but his main concern of course was the blood that was still just gushing from his empty socket. He was within ShadowClan camp but what worried him was the fact that he had blacked out some of his journey. Obviously it was nothing to worrysome but it was troublesome. He had to get to Hailmist fast but of course he was not the only ShadowClan cat in need of attention. But he managed to get within a safe distance of Hailmist's den and he then collapsed there with a shudder. He was out for the count, hopefully just for now. OOC: Isn't he suppose to be an NPC? If so that is pretty good for an NPC.

OOC: Lol, most of us seem to be posting more with our NPC's than our actualy characters xD But it means that we'll have more warriors in each Clan if we need to murder somebody for a future plot without tearing a member's heart out ^^; IC: Scarletpaw watched him go, her eyes soft with care to her mentor. The two had grown close, despite their many obvious differences. They were like a match made in StarClan. Skyfang was a wonderful mentor to her, and she couldn't have been happier when she saw the pride in his eyes.
Then, her distraction had gone, and she returned to reality. A boom of thunder shook every cat nearby, having sounded immediately after lightning had lit up the sky. Scarletpaw shivered, her fur soaked by the rain and the other cat's blood. "You will pay for what you did to him," she growled, her eyes narrowing as she focused on her target. "And I take all payments in blood, nothing else." No sooner had the brave yet cruel words escaped her jaws than had another flash of lightning crackled through the sky.
Scarletpaw tensed, ready to strike, but the storm beat her to it. Lightning struck a tree not five tail-lengths from the she-cats, and it cracked louder than bones. Fear crashed over the apprentice, and she could only imagine what her smaller fightin partner felt. Then suddenly, the tree started falling towards them.
In stories her mother had told her back in the nursery, Scarletpaw had heard of falling trees, and how long ago, a power-hungry cat had been crushed under the weight of a giant oak. The tree then served as a bridge to a meetingplace, and it was, in all, one of the best things ever to happen to the Clans.
But I'm not like that! She wanted to scream the words, but her throat was blocked by fear. I'm just an apprentice! Tears began to drip from her eyes as she trembled, waiting for death to take her. Please don't kill me.
A voice sounded in her head, that imaginary voice of reason thing that everyone always experiences before death. "Do the right thing," [/b] it whispered, "and your life will be spared."Scarletpaw knew what she had to do. Her muscles suddenly unfroze, as though they'd been thawed while she cried. Without a second thought she flew forward, slamming headfirst into the ThunderClan cat she'd been battling just moments before. The two went sprawling backwards, landing in a soft clump of moss the moment the tree struck the ground. Scarletpaw, the saviour of a ThunderClan cat, was unable to get up though. She had just saved a life she had planned on taking, so why was her rear end stuck? She cranes her head to look, and saw the horrifying image. Tears sprung to her eyes again. Her entire tail and her hind right paw had been crushed under the fallen oak. /// After absolutely detsroying multiple enemies in the fight, Pebblestar began to wonder what had happened with her Clanmates. She had entered the battle with them, fought side by side, and then everybody just sort of... got lost. The RiverClan cat felt like something was amiss, and she needed to be there. However, she couldn't quite put a paw on what it was. After rounding a few more corners, she knew. "Now, remember Hawkpaw," Pebblestar said, staring intnetly at her apprentice. "If you're going to surprise an enemy that attacks with their paws, you've got to take away a leg." She motioned for the young black cat to attack her. Hawkpaw obliged, and flailed her tiny paws about, claws sheathed of course. With ease Pebblestar used her jaws (lightly, of course) and yanked the apprentice out of mid-air, dropping her to the ground with a thud. "See? It's an effective move that doesn't strain you if you're injured." Jumping up, she landed softly overtop of Hawkpaw. "The next step is to get a good firm grip." She plopped down, nearly squahsing her apprentice. "Although, since you're fairly small, this might not work for you."The memory of that beautiful greenleaf day, where the sun shone and glinted happily off of the river, was replayed in her mind when Pebblestar rounded a corner. Before her, Hawkstorm stood, her jaws clamped around a familiar foe. Amberclaw, she noted. She approached the dueling cats, leaping high over both to land beside Hawkstorm. "Need some assistance?" she asked with a laugh. She shot forward, catching Amberclaw at an awkward angle and knocking the breath from the ShadowClan cat. She turned back to Hawkstorm quickly. "Do what you will with this fleabag," she murmured cruelly.[/size][/blockquote] OOC: *cries for Scarletpaw* Not my best post with Pebblestar, but I have no muse in my system. Just chocolate cake and Cool Whip!

His sides were heaving as he body checked ShadowClan cats out of his way. Cougarpelt had been seperated from Pebblestar. He did not want to be responsible for her death or injuries so he put on yet another burst of speed soon out running all of the flea bags that had seperated him from his leader. He skidded to a slower pace when he saw her. She was fighting some cats but he was there in an instant helping her. When he was closer he noticed that the one was Hawkstorm so no need to worry there but the other cat he did not really know all he knew was that Pebblestar looked like a force to be reckoned with. "Hello. Stupid flea bags tried to get us all alone. But little did they know I can outrun them so easily." Cougarpelt slowed down to a trot and walked over to where Hawkstorm and Pebblestar where. Just as he stopped Pebblestar shot forward and knocked the breath out of the ShadowClan cat. He blinked as she said her next words. She was in a fighting mood and so was he. "How about we go find some more ShadowClanners, they need to be taught what happens when they go against the other clans." Cougarpelt stretched out and walked over to stand beside Pebblestar. He could feel the angry and agitation just rolling off of her in waves. Nothing a little fighting can't handle. He thought as his tail started to wave back and forth sometimes hitting Pebblestar's tail. But she seemed not to notice and neither did he because he wanted to fight instead of talk it out for once. He wanted to use his speed against everyone else instead of trying to keep his pace the same as the rest of them. It was easy to tell that he wanted to rip into cats with his claws just by the looks in his eyes but he was waiting for Pebblestar to make a move or order then he would follow. He pitied whoever came in their way. OOC: Small but I have like no muse and so I think this is okay for a no muse post.... Thought I could bring in some backup!

Are you really being a warrior right now, or just an arrogant flirt? Pebblestar's eyes narrowed when she saw Cougarpelt. He didn't seem to be very confident with fighting alone today, which to the leader made it seem like he wanted something. "Why did you bother regrouping?" she shouted over the noise of battle and thunder. She wasn't exactly one for sentiments when the adrenaline was pumping. All she wanted to do was go stab somebody with her deadly claws.
She looked icily at Cougarpelt; a warning. "What's the point of being a fast warrior if you don't bother to fight?"
Pebblestar leapt gracefully over apprentice's as they fought and ducked under branches as they reached out to tug at her pelt. She was searching for someone, anyone. As long as they were in ShadowClan and could prove to be a challenge, she wanted to fight them. When she was in battle mode, Pebblestar was nearly unstoppable. She would find her zone, focus all of her might towards the destruction of a foe, and most of all, she would be powerful. Not just like the incredible Hulk. Real power, the kind that radiates from one's pelt without wavering; the kind that everybody can sense from a mile away. That was the secret to her success. The pretty she-cat was strong and confident, and proud of her abilities. As long as she remained devoted, she would never truly die.
