Thick creamy fur standing on end, brown eyes shining with anticipation, Whiterose let out a low growl. ShadowClan must have been at the border, she could scent their foul odor from there. Her eyes flashed warily as she flattened herself to the ground, still behind her bush. Watching, waiting. Soon they will come, and soon I can claw off their pelts! she told herself, claws unsheathed and digging into the soft soil beneath her. Anger welled up inside the small she-cat as she recalled the threats ShadowClan's wicked leader Eaglestar had growled at the Gathering. It seemed so long ago but also as if it was just yesterday. So much had happened, yet every memory, every image of the scene, was so vivid and fresh in her mind.

Flickerstep calmly paced toward the battlefield, his squad infront and behind him. They had all been warriors for some time now, and he couldn't help but wonder if Eaglestar had done this on purpose. Stick the newcomer with those that would protect him, overshadow him; make his weakness un noticable. His scowl deepened, and he quickened his pace, a sudden urge to out do those he was fighting besede as well as those he was to weaken and hopefully destroy.
"Stick to the trees." He said, almost soundlessly; his mew seemed to melt into the sounds of the silent forest, being taken away by the trees and wind. The cat he was talking to looked at him, green eyes someone taken aback that he had spoken, let alone given her an order. "And why should I-"
"Just do it you idiot." He sighed, muttering his next statement. "They'll hear your duckfootedness a mile away." The White cat with subtle tan ears rolled her eyes, frown so deeply set that her canines were easily visible. She hated this tom, she really truly did. What did it matter that he had a point? She had been doing this much longer than he had. Did she have to rip his fur out to prove that she wouldn't be ordered around like a kitling?
"Did I stutter Crescentsky? Go." His eyes seemed to intensify, and she stalked off, taking to the branches of the thick Thunderclan trees. He was not far behind, traveling underneath the shadows of said trees. She would be a helpful accomplice; he would make sure of it.
They approached Thunderclan with silence, but the wind wasn't on their side. Flickerstep cursed as a strong breeze inevitable gave their position away. No matter, they were close enough so that the plan would go as, well, planned.
From up in the trees, Crescentsky was the first to make herself known. "Well, well, well." The she-cat grinned, though it wasn't very terrifying on such a sweet face. Her eyes of crystal blue, and her ears a mousy brown; along with her tail. She hissed, flicking her skinny tail and her smooth muscles rippled on her lean body. "Aren't you a brutish little girl?" As she blinked, it became that she was very vain; her beauty being something that she enjoyed much more than a warrior should. "So very ugly." She snipped, staring at Whiterose. She shook her head and purred. "Ah well, all can't be lucky." Her snide voice softened, and she raised her ehad haughtily, smirking; as if relishing in her own glory.
Flickerstep almost chuckled from where he silently stood, beneath the tree that Crescentsky was placed on. No doubt he would be protecting her today. She was quite the moron, picking on the most ferocious of warriors. It was a wonder she hadn't been killed yet.
(( Enter Flicker and an NPC! Hope this doesn't mess with anything Dx. And yes. I'm planning on killing crescentsky off ~If Whiterose doesn't do that for me~ ))

Nightheart shifted nervously on his feet. He knew his strange appearance would stop some cats in their tracks, but he wouldn't count on that. It was a good thing nobody knew what he was truly capable of. He might stand a chance against Flickerstep, but most of the other ShadowClan cats? Not a single inch of a chance. He glanced at Hazelwing, wondering if she noticed him. He was big for a cat, looking more like a leopard than anything else.
Suddenly the foulest of stenches hit him. He gagged. ShadowClan. Then one she-cat insulted Whiterose.

Flickerstep chuckled a bit, snorting at the predicament that Crescentsky had gotten herself into. He looked over at Spiritfang and shook his head, slightly joking, but tried to remain serious. That tom was pissed, no joke. Though he seemed to be too "PO'd" to notice that he was sitting right underneath the cat that he tackled out of the trees.
"I'll gladly do so, thanks for the offer." He hissed, knowing full well that he wasn't being talked to, but that was the fun of things, no? The warrior hissed once more, tackling the cat easily recognized as Dawnstar's mate. He was big, and honestly he was surprised that he could jump high enough to tackle his fighting partner with.
He couldn't pin him, but did leave him teetering enough for Crescentsky to wiggle her way from beneath him. "One." He said, and Crescentsky sighed, knowing immediately what the other cat meant. Then he lived up to his name, Flickering from shadow to shadow like a ghost. He wasn't big, but knew that that wasn't everything. Let's see how fast this tough guy is.
Soon enough he was infront of the cat, and practically slithering under him and toppling him over. Sure the big guy wouldn't stay down long, but Crescentsky needed enough time to regain whatever bearing she had on the world. [/size]

Whitrose's fur bristled angrily. "I sure hope you were talking to yourself, because if you weren't then you must be something more than ugly and brainless- Blind!" she taunted. Then came another insult, and she snarled. She leapt at the Crescentsky, raking her long, sharp claws down the other she-cats flank before landing behind her in a ready-battle position. "Come out come out wherever you are, you pathetic ShadowClan scum!" Whiterose yowled at the other ShadowClan cats she knew were there, just not visible; hoping it would be loud enough and clear enough to reach the ears of her Clanmates still waiting back at camp. She was answered within a heartbeat, a tom who Whiterose recognized as a newer ShadowClan warrior, Flickerstep, she was pretty sure his name was. He pounced on Eaglefeather from above.
Eyes still glued to her target, Whiterose screeched before flying through the air and landing feet first on Crescentclaw's face. Her claws were unsheathed, of course, and the odd sensation of claws piercing flesh rushed through the ragdoll warrioress.
She tore at Crescentsky's face using her sharp, experienced claws, her brown eyes shining with rage. Her fangs made their way into the ShadowClanner's forepaw, no doubt causing tremendous pain as she punctured a nerve.

Crescentsky cried out, pain taking over her senses. She took a laboured breath, feeling the blod trickle down her face. How infuriating! She couldn't get enough time to stand in order to see straight. take that! She thought, not having the strength to scream it into the Thunderclanner's face.
She hissed, clawing into Whiterose's chest fluff. Her paw was definently fractured, but she would show this hideous exuse for a feline that she was more than a pretty face! With that in mind, she took a swipe at the she-cat's face, clawing at her eyes before darting around her.
A simple blink was enough to get her blood flowing, and adrenaline soon replaced the dread that she'd never get itno this battle. She glared, leaping again and scratchig as deep as her claws could at the warrior's back; biting at the other she'cat's ear. At this rate, I'll rip her whole ear off!
Crescentsky couldn't help the grin that cpread through her features.

Nightheart knew that intimidation was a key to success. He let out a low, raspy growl. It sounded as if it came from a cat much larger than himself. His voice sounded like a leopard. She reached over and grasped Crescentsky's ruff, tossing her off as if she were nothing. He continued to growl low in his throat as if he were hunting prey. With the shadows at his back, he could looked exactly like a leopard. He let his jaw hang open showing shining teeth.
Nightheart leaned down and put his paw onto her chest, effectively pinning her down. The scars that crossed his foreleg showed that clawing or biting was useless, he wouldn't let her go. He reached down and gently fastened his teeth into her throat, able to bite. He let his jaws slack, and sat on her.
