Xita ran, her heartbeat increasing moments, pounding it's way to breaking her ribs. Lond, powerful lega splattered in mud, her fur soaked throughly with the heavy rainfall. Her mind set on one thing: Kill Eaglestar. Panting she pushed herself, thunder cracking loud above her, lightning flashing and lighting up the sky. Her killing instincts where driving her closer and closer to her prize, the feeling to see the look on his face when he feels the life leave him and a blood stained pelt.
Her paws prickled as the stench of Shadowclan camp hit her nostrills, her angery driving her forward and propelled her with anger, hate and disgust. She bolted, the trees thinning and growing sparse. Slipping in a mud puddle, she shot up and ran forward faster and faster, then she saw the great rock, and the camp soil was now benith her toes. skidding to a stop in the middle of the camp she snarled ofver the roar of the thunder " EAGLESTAR, WHERE ARE YOU, NO USE HIDING I'LL FIND YOU!" Then she shot into his den and halted infront of the mouth of his den, a hprrible scowl carved on her exquisit face. " EAGLESTAR" But then she stopped cold, her anger flairing up as fast as a flash fire.

As the storm struck, so did Ace. He had parted with his new mate, Ebony, for a short time, time enough for him to complete his mission. His objective was simple- he had to kill Eaglestar. The death of the tyrant would both anger and please the ShadowClan warriors, and in their confusion, they would be weak. A weak cat would obey any command, do anything to regain lost order. The rest of the Clans, of course, would be ecstatic that the terrible reign of the great Eaglestar had come to an end. They were smarter than to hand over power, of course, but they would share the confusion of ShadowClan, though theirs would be from such excitement. ShadowClan and the other alliances would be like two sides of the same coin.
Never before had Ace killed a cat with nine true lives, so he had prepared himself for anything. Would the cat die for a short time, then return unharmed? Or would he simply blink and be weakened? Either way, Ace was ready.
He had found a gap in the back of Eaglestar's den, big enough for a cat to squeeze through, and for days he had been plotting the murder. That night, he was carrying out his master plan.
First, he had rolled in dirt, mud, and all sorts of leaves and herbs that he found all over ShadowClan. That way, his scent would be disguised, and the caked on mud would help him to blend into the shadows. Next, he had waited until Eaglestar left his den to find a spare bit of food, and in the tense, urgent moments, he had slipped inside and taken place in the uninviting, unpleasant looking shadows that lurked in abundance in the corners of the cave.
When Eaglestar had returned to the den, a frog dangling preciously from his strong jaws, Ace could do nothing but lie in wait. When the tyrant slept, Ace would strike.
Night soon fell, and Eaglestar grew obviously weary. Once his breathing slowed and a light snore whistled from his nostrils, Ace crept forward, his paws silent on the pine needles below him. It was then that the storm hit, making it even easier to be sneaky. Only the rapid lightning threatened to give away his position. But still, Eaglestar slept.
A boom of thunder sounded from above the moment Ace pounced. None would hear any cries that came from ShadowClan's soon-to-be-dead leader. As his claws and teeth sunk into the neck of his foe, Ace felt Eaglestar go limp. One down, eight more to go.
He had gotten to Eaglestar's last life, the blood of his enemy dry on his chest fur but still spilling all over the ground in crimson pools. It was warm as it seeped onto Ace's muzzle, and he reveled in the pleasure he got from taking a life. Just as Eaglestar's breathing started to return, a yowl sounded from outside, drawing Ace away from his final kill.
He looked up to see the silhouette of a cat, obviously female. Only one cat came to mind as he wondered who might be there to kill Eaglestar. "Xita." He whispered her name so softly, and it was drowned out by another clap of thunder, but the rogue had a feeling that his former love had heard him.
"You're too late. Once I bite in again and pull, Eaglestar will be no more, and your time spent getting here will have been wasted. Unless of course, you'd care to join me in the final death of this bloodied fool?" Ace hadn't a coke why he spike the last sentence, for he and Xits were supposed to hate eachother now. Perhaps our common enemy makes it so I'll gladly kill by the side of anybody.

Xita's hate spftend her gaze lied on Ace, a brutal smile made it's way on her face an play with her delicate features. A clap of thunder and a flash of lightning lit up the little cave, her smile giving off a cruel horrible facade of her pretty, intoxicating smile. Her green eyes met his, in an instanbt she felt as if she was drowing in her own sorrows, her hate was leaving her body for Ace. though the last murmur of his sentance gave her a chill that ran throught her entire body. Slowly she took a step towards Ace and his kill, her brutal, angry voice was only audible for Ace to hear, the only whisper she used before squeezing the life out of her victem " You Don't even have to ask, Aces!" She growled, grabbing the other side of Eaglestar's throat. The tyrant moaned and Xita gave his head a playful smack with her paw, his eyes wide open " Shhhh..." She cooed, as if she was talking to a kit, then that angelic smile floated onto her lips again " Make a wish"" She murmured, then pulled hard on Eaglestar's throat, his eyes rolling into the back of his head. Xita looked up at ace, her pelt stained with blood from severing his jugular vein. " Aces?" She murmured, the sickly sweet scent of blood pouring down her pelt an out of her mouth, illuminated by another flash of lightning. Her smile, the dangerous one, was highlighted by the blood dripping off of her teeth. Her head was filled with something..something she hadn't felt in a long time. Her heart was sort of shadowed, but sort of warming after the winter's cold harsh ices. Her green eyes, bone chilling and feral met his, her ears sort of stood up, no longer flat against her skull. She didn't move, the time felt as if it was stretched over several thousand years.

Ace was delighted that Xita joined him in the kill, and after she tore open and ripped out the tyrant's throat, he took one claw, and as a sign of the joint murder, drew it across Eaglestar's stomach twice in the shape of an X. Though he was a cat and had no use for letters, the crossed lines, to him, symbolized the union he and Xita had shared at the moment their common enemy died.
"He is finished. Now we must leave, before ShadowClan discovers it was us. Come quickly!" He was more focused on escaping and carrying out his plan than the warm tingly feeling growing inside of him at that time, but he knew that, if they managed to wash the blood from their fur and paws unnoticed, that something would spark.
Ace lead the way through the crack in the wall, slipping through easily as his fur was coated with some still-wet blood of Eaglestar's. He pulled Xita through by her scruff - since she was so monstrous in size, he figured she might have some difficulty getting through the opening that barely fit him through.
Once they had escaped the cave, and ShadowClan's territory, Ace ran as fast as he could to RiverClan, where he plunged into the icy water. Some of the blood had begun to wash off as the rain pounded their pelts while they ran, but not enough. "C'mon Xita, you must be rid of the bloodstains!" he shouted over another terrifying boom of thunder.

Xita was gripped with fear, yet she almost pounced on him when he drew an "X" on Eaglefeather's stomach, symbolising them. She was too, comcentrating on the plan, but she jumped into a creek, the blood washing off her pelt and running down the river in a ghostly wave " Ace, Hurry!" she hissed, though urgency was clear in her voice. A loud clap of thunder shook the forest to it's roots, lightning flashed again and again, the storm showed no sighnes of stopping for a while. She hopped out of the river and helped Ace get the last bit of blood off of his muscular shoulders, then finished her own pelt. Rain seeping through her heavy top coat and into her extremely soft undercoat, chilling her slightly. She shivered a little, but other then that she said nothing. The grim taste of blood was still in her mouth. When they slowed down a fraction, she spoke " Why did you invite me to share your kill with you, and draw the X on his belly Aces?" She mewed quizzicly, another loud boom of thunder rang out, a tree falling over. Xita's eyes grew wide with fear. she ran ahead to cath him and pulled him out of the way, tears seeping through her eyes. She dragged him up on a ledge and looked at him, leaning her head on one side. " Your a magnet for trouble you know that?" she meowed, flicking his chin with the tip of her tail. Mud ran down the hillside in streams, mixed with the blood coming off of their paws. She stood up and trotted ahead, Windclan looming before them.

When the tree fell just inches in front of Ace's black nose, he thought for sure that he was a goner, and that his plan would surely fail. But just before it hit, Xita became his beautiful saviour. The tree had caught fire when the lightning hit, but it had fallen into the river, saving both cat's from certain doom.
"Xita, you- you saved my life. Thank you!" That was more gratitude than he'd shown over the course of his entire life. Then Xita popped a question Ace had hoped would have been saved for later. Apparently Xita likes to disobey my imaginary rules.
"I did it because I knew you would enjoy it." He said simply. But when he finished, he didn't even have to look at her to know he would have to go deeper than that. "I aim to please, and you are the one I wish to make happy. Not Ebony, but you." He was not ashamed of his words, but more shy and embarressed, a side that never came out of Ace. His voice had softened, as had his normally hard eyes.
He was falling for Xita again, and he knew it too.

Xita nodded, a little blush made it's way to the tip of her ears, but her eart said otherwise, she was falling for him again. " My, Aces, I-I.." Her last bit of sentance caught in her throat, but her eyes said the last bit " I only want to make you happy, nothing else" Xita slowly sat next to him, then she piped up " Ace, if we are to, become lovers. I must tell you something first" her throat was thick with tears, her frame trembled a little " When i was younger, a rouge male name Jack, nickmaned Black Jack because of his tremondous additude. We fell in love and shortly afterwards I became pregnant. Then, around the end of my third week, he became crazy and attacked me, i narrowly escaped, but i safe. Or so I thought. seven days later Jack found me, and he brought his buddies along. Each and everyone of them tortured me untill i though i could bear no mre, then one of them stomped on my belly." Xita drew in a shaky breath " I lost my kits after that day, my heart felt like it was going to burst into flames. Thats when Jack was killed. He killed our children, so I took his life, and his alies too. I don't want to go through that again" Xita murmured, tears escaping her eyes. the poor Savannah cat was hurting, though Ace was the one she desired, she could'nt shake the feeling ol' Jack was still alive and kicking. Xita trembled and she wept for her lost kits.

Thymewing came into his den to check on Eaglestar. The next stage of their attack was going to begin soon, and she wanted to wake him up for it. She wandered into his den, bravely facing the storm, and stopped short. Her legs went numb as they gave out from under her. Her whole body went numb. She couldn't feel anything. Her pelt was soaking wet, dulling the ginger to black. It seemed to reflect how her normally fiery personality was extinguished. The cat had only felt a few emotions in her lifetime. Anger. Hate. Bloodlust. Determination. The invigoration of the fight. In fact, her whole life had been like this. Fight. Be happy. Fight ends. Train. Fight. Be happy. Fight ends. Train. She had lived for the fight, nothing more and nothing less. Until she had met Eaglestar. He was much older than her. She had always looked up to him. He was the only one who could stop her fights. And a new emotion entered into her heart. Love. Her life had changed. There was one thing that would pop up at random places, and was the only thing other than fighting that could make her truly happy. If anything, she had been even happier just watching him. She had wondered over this new feeling. She had even decided that if it were with Eaglestar, she would give up fighting for kits.
Now new emotions entered her heart. Sadness. And all the love was gone. Heartbreak. Not gone, but changed. Numbness. Flipped upside down into a new, twisted emotion. Desolation. The lightning crackled and the thunder roared. Desperation. The unnatural light made the scars on her pelt appear white, and they flashed across her fur like lightning. Vengeance. "EAGLETSTAR!!!"
She would find and kill whoever had done this. An X on his stomach. X. For... for.... for... Ah, well. She knew who had probably done it anyway. Xita. The murderess. She would kill her. She swore it by the lightning. By the storm. By Eaglestar's still-warm body. She didn't know where she was, but Genitus was probably still hanging around camp, maybe with Oak. Her love was still alive. But now it was her who would have to beware. With a last scream, Thymewing ran off to find a rogue.
OOC: Where is Oak? Genitus may have fallen for him, so where is he so I can post?
