WotM Needs Reviving!

Hey everyone!

As I'm sure those of you who stay online have noticed, WotM is basically dead. And right in the middle of our plot, too!
Many of you may know that this is my first forum, and for those I you who didn't, now you do. See, I'm very attatched to this place, and refuse to let it be lost. If Warriors of the Mist goes down, I won't go with it. I'll bring it back up.
But I need your help for this! Help me get our members to return, and get some new ones here to help up rise to the top!

I promise you will be rewarded. Lusis and Stea, since you seem to be the only members currently bothering to visit, you will each recieve two additional character slots, and your choice of a color name. Post here and let me know which color you've chosen.

So far, to attract some visitors, I think we need a set advertisement, something that tells our plot and abou us in general. I can't think up anuthng right now, believe me? I've tried. So if you guys can come up with something, I will be forever grateful!

EDIT: Okay, so a random spurt of inspiration slammed into me while browsing another forum, so I advertised us there, and I actually like the ad. Here's the link:

ANOTHER EDIT: I have an idea! What do you say we restart this all, and do things right? Wipe out a bunch of the characters, make a new layout, a new skin, completely renovate the forum so that when members return they see that we mean business, and we're gonna fight for the our survival. What do you say?
I'll be needing some people to help out with a layout. I'm thinking of finding a pre-made template, then using side tables on the left only. How's that seem to you guys?

No, I really just think that deleting all of the characters that are up for adoption would be good. I doubt anybody will really want to adopt most of them, and I'd like to clear up space in the Clans.

Yeah I saw it and it was great! It is simple and basic. I will go on a bunch of random sites and post it where I can. Kiya once you can I think that I would like a, pink name possbily? And I agree with punky don't delete the important ones! I really don't want to let go of any of mine except maybe Gabbie, she never really gets used since Kitty was deleted. Kiya going with new everything is a good idea. People like fancy remember that!

A revival sounds good! I agree that with the deletion of the ones that were sitting around, there are enough high positions for new members to jump right in ^^
I'm looking at your add, and it really tells what we're up to :3 Maybe if the finished threads are archived, it would make the place look more tidy. I'll gladly help advertize dear, I'm pretty sure that I've told you that before!

Uhm, a spam thread tends to bring users closer and they stick around and stuff... it doesn't even need to count for posts. That's a simple one.

A new skin would be nice, but this one is really pretty already ^^

Maybe we can have a shop! I've seen it done on a lot of sites :3 A certain amount of posts will get you four or five points to spend, and you can get an extra char slot/ a dream from starclan/ cats with strangely colored eyes/ whatever we can think of that's cool and isn't offered to members already x3 It gives people something to work for and want to post more often ^^

A posting contest is always fun xD Lawl, or a raffle or something ^^

Those are great ideas! As soon as I get a chance to be on my normal comp, I'll post the adverisement code here so that anybody can post it. And I'll put in the shop code.
Hmm, maybe we could have it so that each cat's abilities are at a certain level, and you have to earn posting points to buy the next level? Make it kind of like a true roleplay, no just text-based. That would work really well with apprentice's- once their skills are high enough, they can become a warrior! Then the posting points could still go towards abilities, but also towards a bunch of other stuff, no idea what though ^^ Yes Silver, I love the idea!

The layout I'm going to attempt to make will have all of the side tables information as well as the chatbox moved onto the left side of the forum. I'll also add a plain box above the boards to put the plot in, and then the news fader could have like, a quote of the day or something.

I'm liking these ideas, everyone! WotM is going to be great, all thanks to you, my loyal, trusted members and friends!

EDIT: Guess what? I know how I'm gonna make the new skin/layout! Okay, I don't know what colors I want for the skin, but I have a general idea of what to do!
Help me decide on some colors! Warm tones or cold? Complimenting colors or shades? Right now we've pretty much just got shades, since it's all different blues. So, do I go with, say, soft pink and brown? Maybe a nice lavendar and a subtle green? Argh, so many decisions, so hard!

Claire, if you end up seeing this soon, as my residant artist, I need your opinions here! After all, I'll likely call upon you for a new banner and basically all of the images I will need.

We have a nice blue, so why not something darker? Maybe amber's? Golds and reds and stuff?
Red on black is nice, but it can be killer on the eyes.

Hmm, yeah, I'll try some of that out. I'll use some nice honey colors and maybe pinks and reds. Yeah, that'll do, I think ^^;
